Volunteer Experience
As a volunteer Ambassador and Market Leader for NYC, I worked with the original CEO (Shahab Kaviani) to spearhead the strategy for launching meetups in Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY. I was involved with producing meetups at Loosecubes Brooklyn, NYU Poly's DUMBO Incubator, and NYU’s Stern School of Business.
In addition to presenting and acting as a “matchmaker” at meetups, I always solicited feedback and funneled it back to Shahab and the core Product Engineering team to continuously improve the product and meetup experience. This led to more relevant attendees, an improved online and in person user experience, and bolstered the ratio for connecting like-minded individuals on the platform.
Furthermore, I provided my own user & functional requirements to enhance the product, socialized matches on social media, recruited and onboarded new volunteers to continue facilitating meetups, and attempted cross-promotional campaigns fusing relevant authors, key opinion leaders, and other startup organizations with CoFoundersLab.
